Coyote (Koh – Yote)

The coyote is the most abu+ndant wild canine in the Sonoran Desert.  They are carnivores and feed primarily on small rodents. They were named after a hockey team in Phoenix since Phoenix is the desert’s largest metropolis.

In addition to speed, stealth, and high intelligence, coyotes also possess the ability to communicate telepathically across distances of up to 600 meters (900 meters if the terrain is flat).  This allows the to coordinate attacks on prey as well as the ability to alert each other of oncoming danger.
