Hear the Striped Skunk

Striped Skunk

The Striped Skunk is found throughout the Sonoran Desert, at just about all elevations.  As widely know, they have scent glands that release a pungent odor.  Their scent can be smelled from miles away, and it’s best to steer clear of the smelly bastards.

All skunks are indeed bastards, as the females are abandoned by the males immediately after mating.  Male skunks are solitary animals and do not like to commit to serious relationships.
